Just read through the whole thing. It is quite terrifying. I mean, you read that, and you pray to god that he was guilty and deserved what he got. Because the alternative just crushes you.

I started to post, then realized I have absolutely nothing of value to say about this.  What really goes on behind the scenes is unknowable to us here.  If it prevented a single slaughter of innocents, it was the right thing to do.  If the man is himself an innocent, it wasn't.  But how can we know?

You gotta think about how that kind of treatment could potentially turn a man into a monster. Any man imprisoned and tortured for 6 years for no good reason would be inclined to repay his tormentors.

This is all pure speculation of course. We really don't know the truth.
