Late to the party, but I think Dan brought it up in our first podcast which reminded me to put it on netflix. Got the first disc today.

Holy shit, this show is awesome. How did they not make like a million seasons?

Pryo made me watch it and I have to agree. I could sit and mindlessly watch that show for hours. Good stuff.

I bought my dad the DVD set for Xmas a couple years ago and then stole it from him so I could watch it.

I just bought the set. We rented the car for the trip today...and it has a built in DVD player. I'm totally having a Firefly marathon.

It is now 3am and I just finished watching the entire rest of the series. I am also getting depressed because they arent going t make anymore. If I was rich I'd finance new episodes.

Now I should go pick up Serenity and rewatch it now having seen the series. Though...the deaths are now even sad from what I remember in the movie.

You know, I know that I listed the humour of Firefly as its main selling point, but Out Of Gas really was a fantastic episode.

i don't view this series with the reverence you all obviously have for it but it was a good show. I would have liked to have seen more.

I bought the complete series on dvd today at Best Buy after seeing it was on sale for 12.99 at slickdeals.

Can't wait to see what the fuss is about.  Gotta get through season one of Mad Men first though.

Damn, you still haven't seen it?  You're in for a treat.  It has its faults, and its low points, but all in all was a great show I enjoyed watching several times.  After you watch it, go out and buy Borderlands.  Not exactly the same thing, but it's also kind of a sci-fi western in its own right.
