Diablo Swing Orchestra
« on: Monday, November 09, 2009, 12:16:21 PM »
I like finding random things to download while I sleep so when I wake up I have something new to check out. Sometimes its a game, sometimes its a video, and sometimes its music. So I had a look around Jamendo since they offer legal free music to download. Some hit and miss stuff, but I happened to find something pretty awesome.

Diablo Swing Orchestra - The Butcher's Ballroom

Normally I'll listen to a few seconds of a couple tracks, but the reviews were so positive that I thought I'd just grab the whole thing without hearing anything first (plus it was late and I didn't feel like searching anymore). I am pleasantly surprised. Its got a wide mix of music styles going on here and listening to any one track probably wouldn't have given me the right opinion on the whole thing. Ends up feeling like some jazz/swing/metal/rock opera. Definitely worth downloading and checking out yourself.

Thats actually pretty cool. I downloaded, and put it on my mp3 player. It will give me something to listen to tomorrow while I'm working. Sweet.

I will download and listen tomorrow at work.  God knows I'm going to need distractions.  Today was... bad.
