I figured that's what this 120-240Hz refresh fad was about, at least in part. Movies are going 3D, and now they're trying to make us buy into this shuttering-eyeglasses tech to give us an image per eye at 60 Hz. It's not new, but its widespread application is. Yes, Que, they do expect us to wear those the whole time we're gaming, or watching the latest movies on TV. Just wait and see. It will have only partial success, if any, but that still means lots of geeks getting a strobed view of the world for inordinate amounts of time.
