Arkedo is the small studio that made Big Bang Mini for the DS. So they're releasing a gme every month through the XBL Indie games service. These are the only games I've managed to find on the indie games section that I've actually liked enough to buy. Apparently the first game was made by 2 guys in 35 days.
All of these games cost 240 MS points (which is $3).Arkedo Series - 01 JUMP!JUMP! is a simple platformer where you have bombs to collect in order to open the exit to the level. Each bomb has a timer on it, which creates a sort of time limit on each level. Some levels use this to make you move fast, others give you tons of time.

Arkedo Series - 02 SWAP!This one is a puzzle game. You have blocks coming up from the bottom of the screen, and you're trying to make rows of 4 blocks of the same color. You select the block you want to move, and then use the right analog stick to swap it with an adjacent block. Other special blocks are thrown in for variety as well.
This one I haven't actually picked up yet, mostly because I'm just not that into puzzle games.

Arkedo Series - 03 PIXEL!PIXEL! is another platformer, though not quite as simple as JUMP! You jump on enemies, build up power for your special meow attack, and work your way toward an exit door. Pulling the left trigger brings up a magnifying glass that allows you to zoom in on certain blocks. Once zoomed in, you are moving around from pixel to pixel through a sort of timed maze, trying to find the one orange pixel and activating it. Once activated, it will open the level path for you, or spawn the end of level door. One level I played had me walk past poisonous mushrooms that reversed my horizontal controls and then made me platform over spikes afterward.
