PS3s getting DVR addon

At least, the Japanese and European markets have them now.

There's no word on when the North American market will get it, but we can always hope.  If you've got a PSP, it can directly record onto the PSP as well.  That is pretty awesome; granted, you'd need a pretty big memory stick though.

Can't say I watch enough TV for this to matter... though in theory it would make it easier to watch the few shows that I actually like.

I'm actually interested in this. I don't have a DVR with my cable setup and recording TV shows is such a nice luxury to have.
