Well, back to watching hockey and Heroes.  And downloading southpark and Venture bros.

Lost just isn't interesting, anymore.  It feels so...self-indulgent now or something, like "Hey, guys, I'm Lost.  I'm edgy and suspenseful.  I give you answers, but overshadow them with more questions never allowing you any satisfaction in watching me."  or something.  Season one was great, then season two came along.  Around that point it started to feel all pretentious.  Now, it's just sad....  It's like a girl you thought was really hot at first, but she didn't really think she was that hot.  Then everyone started telling her she was hot and she started to believe it and became a little snooty.  Now she's an anorexic, coked-up whore.  Or something to that extent.

I really really hope Heroes doesn't turn into Lost.

Oh and for idol,

Yeah, the writers just don't have the freshness that they had during the first season. I've been nothing but disappointed so far with season 3.

Damn. I'm enjoying season 2 a fair bit right now and I'd hate to see the show fail... especially for Heroes.

I think it can still turn out well, it's just that as of right now it could very well be heading down a bad road.


Damn, I wish Carnivale wasn't canceled.  Best tv show ever.  Seriously.  Rent the dvds.  Now.

Jennie has watched Lost religiously since the beginning.  I caught my first episode last night with her.

I was thinking to myself, "How can you watch this shit?"  It's exactly like hoob said... questions without answers.  I hate shows like that:  "Tune in next week!  Can you believe what is going to happen?!"  Then you tune in and it's like, "Oh yeah, that.  That is no big deal.  But what about this?!!!!"

Like I said, I never watched Lost, but

After watching some of the 1st season, I pretty much gave up on it.  It seemed to me even then that the show was going to be about grabbing a longterm audience by any means, rather than being true to a good storyline.

The first season was great. Scott - the show's much more than that, the island itself is like a character. I loved all the mystical elements at the beginning, and how it was handled, but after the first season it just wasn't the same. Recently I found out JJ Abrams was only writing on the show for the first few episodes, and he had a lot to do with the fantasy aspect. Maybe that has something to do with it.

season 1: amazing
season 2: shitty at times but has an amazing last few episodes
season 3: all shitty with one good episode

I thought 24 started to suck with season 4.

For me, the only show which has yet to diminish in quality, is Desperate Housewives. (shut up, it's awesome)

I don't watch a lot of TV.  I still watch the Law and Order shows because I'm a sucker for cop shows, but I don't follow them religiously.  I was enjoying Psych on USA during the first season, looking forward to the second, and I was watching Monk now and again... but there just isn't much I like out there.  Don't care for any of the shows you guys talk about, really.

People put them up on Google Video and YouTube usually.  They will probably show re-runs a lot now that the second season is over.
