I was watching some with my little nephew and THEY ALL SUCK NOW.

What happened? We need more awesome, all the cartoons now suck.

Yes, but I grew up in England where they are called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles.

Cartoons may suck now but overall I'd say that we have way better television shows recently than in any other time.

I absolutely loved the TV series, as it was quite edgy and different than anything on TV when it came out...

...but God, that first Sex And The City Movie was just TOO Hollywood-ish, TOO long, and TOO bloated for its own good. Seriously, why do I need 2 and a half hours of these girls in one sitting?  Shocked

I really thought the TV series ended on the perfect note - so really, why are we getting these movies? Oh, right - it's time to milk the series into being the new box-office cash-cow.

I think what Keebler's getting at is probably exactly what I feel about this show. This is how I feel about it:

This show has gotten absolutely great reviews, which on one hand makes me want to watch it big time....

...But on the other hand, this show is set in NYC -- and quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of the NYC setting in shows. It's just a setting that has been so over-used and over-abused, if you ask me.
