Deltron 3030
« on: Saturday, February 19, 2011, 09:56:26 PM »
So, I hope that some of you have heard the brilliance of this album before, but for those who have not, let me introduce you. I have a handful of hip-hop albums that I consider amazing, and this is one of them. It came out years ago, and I just recently stumbled back upon it. It's intergalactic hip-hop set in the year 3030, with Deltron using rhymes to inform the human race of the robot menace.

Well, just listen. And get the album. There's supposedly a new one coming out soon.

I love this album, probably my favorite hip-hop album ever.  I wish he would hurry up and finish the next one already.  He said it was finished, so I don't know why it hasn't been released yet.

3030 is a wicked track.  What else can you recommend off the album?

Mastermind, Virus, Madness, Time Keeps on Slipping, Things You Can Do, Positive Contact, etc. The first three are particularly awesome, and I love Madness.

It's all pretty awesome, just download the album.

Also, Bel, I've heard that he's pretty fucked up on drugs. Apparently the first album was done under the heavy influence of drugs, with him and automater taking shrooms and writing songs and whatnot. So I guess that could explain the delay.
