My friend's younger brother works at Best Buy.  He says that people (he called them "dorkzaurs") began camping outside Best Buy yesterday in anticipation.  I don't know about you, but I'm not about to camp outside in wet, 32-35 degree wether for a couple days and then spend like $700 on a PS3 and a single game.  It just would never happen ever.

What the fuck is the matter with these people?  Now, because of these people, the next generation of consoles will be like $2000.  Sony and Microsoft will be like, "Fuck it... they'll buy it no matter what we charge."

Update:  The Cincinnati Enquirer has reported that at one Best Buy, PS3's were sold out in 20 minutes.  There were 30.

Yeah, I went this morning to try and get a PS3 so I could be a scum bag and sell it to pay some of my school tuition. It was an absolute mob scene, and they tried to do this raffle, but it didn't work and there were a lot of pissed off people. I'll go into more detail later when I'm not at work, but hey, I didn't get one but I got on the news!!!
