So they were looking for writers. From the video interview apparently thousands and thousands applied and they were down to six.
And I was one of them.
So they asked me to send final samples. I guess it didn't work out in the end. They needed two guys. This was a few months back. It sucked that it didn't work out because I really thought it would happen.
Here is the final email from the Crecente.

... been a very long process involving a lot of very talented people. Ultimately, we decided to go with someone else for the position. It was a very difficult decision made harder by the amount of talent and potential you showed in your clips and experience. While you didn't make the final cut this time, do keep in mind you did beat out .... people to make it to our final pool of applicants.
... I imagine we would be looking for talented folks again down the line and I would encourage you to reapply what that happens.

It was a very nice email and the chat on Skype was pretty nice. He seemed like a nice dude.
I was just crushed it didn't happen.
There are other local writing opportunities coming my way and I am not taking them.
