sy is getting married, I'm going. So is Que. We're going to roadtrip up the coast of California and camp out a few days while the shit goes down. Pictures will be taken, memes will be created, and I'll probably have to knife fight a bear. Should be fun.

Before the roadtrip...I'm flying to Oakland. Flying. Me. I haven't flown in 20 years so I'm all nervous about it. Now I get why they serve little bottles of booze.

Anywho, flight doesn't leave until tomorrow evening but I'll be gone most of the day getting to the airport and being strip searched. Will be gone about a week. See you dudes!

Oh yeah. I'm getting married this week. I knew there was something to Aimee's pestering.

I actually arrived in California yesterday and back in the Bay Area for a couple of hours to rest. Tomorrow it's up the coast to finish up the last details (and a couple not-quite-details). Who knew so much planning could go into a wedding?

Allow me to offer some advice. When you get the chances to sort of sit back and admire the spectacle of your wedding and everything surrounding it, take them. It's very easy to get caught up in everything going on and before you know it is over.

I dont have the photos uploaded yet, but I did take this 360 panorama at the Lost Whale Inn, the bed and breakfast the reception was held at and where the families stayed. Amazing place.

It's done and I managed to obtain the Ring of Binding (the +1 luck version). Everything went pretty much as close to perfect as possible. Que and Idol didn't even make fools of themselves (quite the opposite actually).

Today Aimee and I are driving to Mt Shasta and we'll starting climbing tomorrow. The plan is to be at the tippy top on by Sunday morning. If we don't fall off or die of exhaustion, we should be in Southern California by next weekend. Wish us luck.

I took about 8 bajillion pictures... I'll try to get around to doing something with them. Just got back from Cali today (stayed a while to visit with the family), back in TX now.

Same here. The worst is Texas. It's too fucking hot to go outside, and I can't afford a gym. I want to work out in my house but my fucking landlady smokes indoors and I can hardly breathe.

That's my problem for right now. Heat index over 100 every day this week. Hopefully that will improve soon.

Well, we pulled it off. Yesterday Aimee, I, and our group got up around 2 am to start climbing. At about 11 am we had reached the peak.

So fuck yeah. We climbed a fucking mountain. We even got to wear crampons and use ice axes; being suited up felt pretty badass.
