Want $5.99 in free PSN credit?
« on: Thursday, November 10, 2011, 10:33:13 PM »
Go here, log in, accept the emails, and you'll get  a code. It says its for the video service but according to a thread on neogaf what they send you is a generic PSN code that adds $6 to your wallet. You can spend it on whatever you want on PSN.

Got my email, and can confirm it works. You can spend it on whatever. Hooray!

Hmm... you have to use your email associated with your PSN account don't you? I don't know if $6 of PSN credit is worth exposing my email to whatever that is going to.

And that says its for movie credit, you can't spend it on anything.

Yeah its your PSN email. Some newsletter. No big deal to me, it'll get sent to my spam folder. Actually now that I redeemed the code I can probably uncheck receiving the newsletter entirely.

And it says movie credit, but thats not what it ends up being. Its a generic PSN code that adds $5.99 to your "wallet". My account had a few cents left in it and now it reads $6.89. I can spend it on games if I want, and others already have.
