Humble Indie Bundle 4 out now!
« on: Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 07:35:27 AM »
OUT NOW!

The games are:

Super Meat Boy
Shank
Bit.Trip Runner
Jamestown
Nightsky

Beat the average bonus is:

Gratuitous Space Battles
Cave Story+

Pretty awesome selection there, though I already own SMB and Nightsky. Still, if they follow the previous HIBs the SMB will have a DRM/Steam-free version that I would like to have, as well as Shank and the others.

Looks like NightSky actually comes with Nightsky HD, which is an update from the regular version. Will check it out.

I have almost all those. Shank I have on the PS3. Cave Story is the only one I don't have.

I'll grab it anyway and assign my donation to the charity exclusively.

I have SMB and Shank on the Xbox, but Im interested in Gratuitous Space Battles, Jamestown, and Cave Story. I'll probably jump on this anyway.

Gratuitous Space Battles is kinda cool. I spent some time with it much earlier in the fall and enjoyed myself. It could use a little more meat in the presentation (it needs more music) and customization menus could be streamlined a bit, but there's a lot of joy to be had in the game. This is triply true if it comes at usual indie bundle prices (I paid near full price).

Cool, I don't own Shank, Bit Trip Runner, or Gratuitous Space Battles so I'm definitely jumping on this.

Shit. I could use a few of these. Didn't Nightsky come with one of the Indie Royale bundles? It shows you just how many of these there are that I can't even remember.

Yeah, the Royale bundle before the current one had Nightsky. Its a pretty cool game, though simple and you can beat it fairly quickly.

Played some Jamestown. Its pretty awesome, even though I'm not all that into vertical scrolling shooters. Even though I downloaded the DRM-free version direct from HIB, with Steam running in the background I earn Steam achievements. Weird.

Ok, done with Jamestown. Not because I beat it, but the last level seems to be a big "fuck you" in the difficulty curve. It was fun while it lasted, though.
