This is a different kind of Humble Bundle, and they teamed up with Double Fine to do it. Or Double Fine Teamed up with them. Whatever.

Double Fine generates their game prototypes in an event called "Amnesia Fortnight" where they forget what they are doing for 2 weeks (see? get it now?) and make a bunch of prototype games. This year is new because instead of that just being an internal thing they are opening it to the public.

In regular Humble Bundle style you pay what you want and can split with charity. What you get are some of the prototypes from previous years that went on to be Double Fine games. In addition there are all the pitch videos for the games the Double Fine teams want to try, and you can vote on the ones you want to see get made. The top 4 ideas get made, the Double Fine Adventure documentary crew will be filming it all and releasing daily videos during the 2 week run, and you get to download the completed prototypes!

So this is moving along. Five games were chosen to go ahead with the prototypes instead of just 4. Live streams are up daily on twitch.tv so you can drop in and watch whats going on. 2 Player is putting together daily highlights videos, but I have yet to watch those. Probably wont until they are all done.

Even though you can no longer vote, you can still grab the bundle to access the prototypes and daily videos, which will all be archived on the site for you.

Speaking of prototypes, one of the currently available ones is Brazen...which is totally awesome.

It appears they have given bundle owners 3 extra steam keys for Brazen. If anyone didn't buy the bundle (whats wrong with you?), I'd be happy to hand them out.
