I love FF9 but given Square-Enix's track record with FF ports I can't get too excited.

Their ports are terrible these days apparently but this is my fav Square game. I played it on Vita a while ago and just somehow sunk enough time in to finish it. No idea why I like it so much but I guess it's because it's so light and entertaining. Sometimes you want to play a game and not have all these deep issues thrown in your face and this has always fit the bill for me.

I really liked FF9 - feels like a nice throw-back to some of the older FF's.
Though, for me - FF6+7 are where it's at.
Keep in mind, these FF's are what I've played: FF1 on NES; FF5+6+7+8+9 on PSX; and FF13-1 on PC.
