Link to your Nintendo Network ID and all that stuff. Seems like instead of physical rewards they are going with digital goodies, but also handing out coins rather liberally. If you have a tablet or smartphone Nintendo released an app called Miitomo that does...I dunno, stuff. But you can earn coins daily/weekly with that plus logging in to the eshop and Miiverse.

One thing to note, if you have any interest in Flipnote 3D (3DS) now is your chance to get it. Just by making a My Nintendo account before April 30th you can get a code for it for free. No coins required. This was given away just before Club Nintendo shut down and has been unavailable since. Now it's back again for a limited time so might as well grab it if you can.

I just started using it. It basically feels like a cross between a social app and a quiz game. Interesting concept.

Yeah, its different. Not a whole lot to it, I wonder if Nintendo is going to flesh it out some more.

I now have enough coins to "buy" Twilight Princess Picross or WarioWare Touched for my 3DS. Leaning towards WarioWare. Or do I wait until that expires and see whats next? The coins only last 6 months anyway so it wouldnt be the worst thing to just buy something.

So I learned the weekly coins timer resets on Monday. You can go do your weekly logins to get easy coins. The main ones are Miiverse, the eshop, Nintendo.com, and My.Nintendo.com. On My.Nintendo.com there will be a little platinum coin next to the big platinum coin box. Click it and you get 30 coins. Miiverse and Nintendo.com I was able to just use my web browser thats already logged in. Visit and done, another 30 coins for each of them. eshop I just did on my 3DS, not sure if the new web version counts or not. All told thats 120 coins a week for next to no effort.

Yeah, it seems to encourage you to spend your coins frequently. I mean you get an "award" for getting new clothes and changing outfits daily.

It's starting to feel like the sort of app that preys on addictive personalities
