I've been on this planet for forty years and have seen some people and brands with the silliest fanboys, but I think Elon Musk has the worst.

His Twitter buyout thing has been a massive embarrassment. His latest U-turn to buy Twitter with his initial offer is humiliating, yet Musk fanbots are like "You don't understand his genius!"

It's infuriating watching Twitter disintegrate as a platform. I really need it for a variety of things, and that's where all my community is for the writing stuff I do. I keep waiting for people to embrace Mastodon, but it doesn't seem to be getting enough traction to be a true replacement. I guess we'll see. I made a couple accounts over there for writing and games stuff.
