Late last week, I bid on an eBay auction for Bengals-Steelers tickets for the game on December 31. The seller had zero feedback, but it was a local person and I figured they were probably just some people that had tickets but couldn't go to the game and thought they'd try to get some money off of them on eBay.
So I won the auction for $355. Actually, I lost the auction because I didn't meet the reserve, but they gave me a second chance offer and I accepted. After the auction ended, I asked the seller if they could please provide a tracking number when they get one. The seller responded almost immediately and said the following:
Hi Scott,
You are going to have so much fun!! We would be there, but the hubby has to work. Ill fedx these to you on Tuesday for overnight delivery. This will allow us to track them.

I sent an e-mail to them first thing Tuesday morning reminding them to please ship out the item so that I'd receive it in time. I didn't hear anything back from them at all yesterday.
I sent them another e-mail today asking if they managed to ship out the item yesterday, and if so to please provide a tracking number. Again, I have heard nothing as of yet.
Now, I could very well go home today and find the tickets in the mail or at the doorstep. After all, the earliest they could possibly arrive based upon the auction end time is today. However, the fact that they responded so quickly to my first e-mail and that I have not heard from them since is beginning to unsettle me.
I get the feeling I'll be burned on the $360, or get the tickets on Tuesday or something, two days late.
