But it's a hard question, really.  If I could honestly go back... it would be so tempting to see my mom and dad after they first got married, or see my dad as a kid, or to go back and see those first days I spent with my first love.  It's a really hard question if you actually think about it.

Definitely, very hard.  I'd like to push my birth date back about 5 years.  That would get me in better sync with the baby boomers.  At every stage in my life, whatever came next was always hard to get or expensive because they got there just before me, driving supply down and prices up.  (Watch them bankrupt social security out of existence right before I'm due to get it.)

As for visiting (and then leaving unharmed) some remote past, I'd love to see the classical Greek period, what they achieved.  The records we have are incomplete, and I have a feeling they were much closer to technology than they get credit for.  Then there's all that art, architecture, and philosophy.  The Romans were educated and refined by this culture.

I'd probably go back to WWII era Germany. I'm just so fascinated with WWII history and that would be awesome to watch battles and stuff like that unfold.

I'd like to take a tour though pre-history starting when life first emerged until around the time man created fire.  Of course, that is an awfully long period of time, but I could skip through some of the boring parts.

I would go back to the Greek times.  I would love to be a Spartan warrior, although I know I would never make it through training.  Haha.  The middle ages as well.  Or Feudal Japan. Basically, any time period where you would be raised in an incredibly structured, rigorous environment.  All that discipline stuff is just sweet to me. The things you can achieve.. Too bad my life is too fragmented and scrambled to get anything like that done.

I'd probably go back to about 500 years or 5000 years from now.  Not sure which part since the world wasn't as divided as it is today.  I think back then, one land went on to the next in some cases.

I'd take the internet back with me even just for a day, record the whole day and then take it back to now and sell it for a ton of money or someone's neck.

But I think I'm a bit content with today.  Even if there are somethings i'd like to chnage.. ultimately there's only so much i CAN change./
