So, I'm currently finishing my degree through correspondence because it's not really worth it to move back out to Calgary to finish an econ degree I don't really want. My plan is to just finish a general studies degree through correspondence, attend BC Institute of Technology and take something I'll find interesting and that will help be get a job, then if I really want I can always get a masters and build on my university degree until it's something more useful.
The problem is that I'm looking at all these programs at BCIT and, while some of them sound interesting, I pretty much make more money now then it seems the mean salary is for these jobs. I'm looking at Geographic Information Systems, Plastics Engineering, and stuff like that, but I'd really like to get into something a bit more computer oriented. Do any of you smart people out there know what a good field would be to get into?
