In 5 months I don't know. My roommate has plans to move out with her boyfriend. Kinda doesn't make sense to me due to her erratic pattern of her relationships and the fact that her boyfriend couldn't afford to live in this apartment splitting the rent and other bills 3 ways. There are places cheaper but its not like its still going to be cheaper splitting it two ways between them. It sucks because I really like this place. I'll probably end up living in some ratty single apartment somewhere in town.

Put adverts on your campus near move out time about needing a roomie. Conduct interviews. Just try to find someone as easy going as possible.

Ill try some people I know. Im pretty against rooming with total strangers even if they do seem nice, you just never know. California would totally rock, except I have no idea how I would survive the totally high living expenses.

To be honest I don't know why this is getting to me. Its 5 months down the road and as things go with Sarah, anything could happen in that period. She may end up breaking up with her boyfriend by then. I mean during the fall she had plans of moving out and going to another university by the end of the year. I've been feeling more agitated recently. The other day my boss got onto me about something that is none of his fucking business. Of course that shouldnt have got to me either. I dont care about my shady boss no more than I care about the situation he was talking about.

And yeah, California does have the whole ridiculous price thing. Living here is insane. I honestly don't have any concept of how people do it exactly as I've always made pretty decent money and have never shared rent with anybody, even my wife.

I am going to be a sophomore in college next year and I can't decide who I want to live with. One of my good friends is a total pothead, so I am not sure if I want to be around that stuff constantly. My roommate right now is great, but he is going to get paid by the university to be an RA(living with freshmen). I am considering living with my suitemate, but he also smokes a lot of pot. Not to mention he encourages me to smoke cigarettes, which isn't something that I need to be doing.

Blah. So I don't know. I don't want to just do random selection and get some fucking asshole, but I don't really know who I want to live with.

My suggestion? Live alone. Other people tend to fuck things up. Go find some hole in the wall studio. I think that's what I'd do if I was still a bachelor.

Well, I'll tell you how they do it in Long Island, NY. They work all day and part of the night. The pace there is absolutely brutal. Even people with good jobs will often have a 2nd part-time job, or mow lawns & clean snow, etc. The big-money breadwinners in the mansions I'm sure have a different set of time-consuming tasks, but they too live to work, rather than the much-healthier opposite.
