I am a bit of a tree hugger myself. When I was younger I would donate my allowance to the 'save the tiger foundation'. I was an idiot maybe. I don't know how that little money helped heh.

But I see no problem with this considering America is so full of tree huggers who allow animals the utmost respect. I have a lot of respect for the humanity and love Americans show to animals. In other parts of the world they aren't so lucky.

This is very true.  It can be really depressing.  I'm all for having a working relationship with animals if it benefits them to some degree and seems to work for everybody, but this just sounds a bit too much like putting them in harm's way.

Wasn't there some military operation that used rabbits and other rodents to clear out minefields (which is why it was ironic in Full Throttle with the battery operated bunnies)
