The upcoming adventure game A Vampyre Story has been renamed to now Vampire World

Oh, and the adventure game's almost done, BTW -- and due for a Summer '07 release

Mayhem Studios announces a name change for the game previously known as Vampire Story, which will be released this summer under the title Vampire World:

    In order to avoid any misunderstandings concerning the name "Vampire Story" - since there is another computer game from a different company titled "A Vampyre Story" - we have decided to change the name of the project to "Vampire World" thus easing this situation for our business partners and customers.

    The Vampire World project is almost completed and Mayhem Studios signed a distribution contract with Game Factory Interactive, LTD covering the Russian mutation of the game. Negotiations with other publishers are taking place and the publishers for individual territories will be known in the first quarter of 2007.

    The game will be released world-wide in summer 2007.

Actually, D, this isnt "A Vampyre Story" adventure by those ex-lucasarts guys. This is a 3D action/RPG/adventure type game by another studio.

They changed the name to "Vampire World" (3D RPG/Action/Adventure) so as not to be confused with "A Vampyre Story" (Ex-LA adventure game).
