No More Heroes Trailer
« on: Friday, March 09, 2007, 11:30:18 PM »
Theres a new trailer up here, I gotta say I'm excited. I liked Killer 7, but the on rails gameplay felt to restricting and boring. I actually looked more forward to the cutscenes instead of the actual gameplay. Its looks like they fixed everything in this new game.

Looks pretty neat so far, hopefully it comes to PS2 or PS3.

Sorry, this is (as for now) Wii only.

Yeah I know, I'm just hoping the same thing happens with this game like what happened with Killer 7, it was a Gamecube exclusive at first and then a PS2 version was made.

I remember that fiasco, people were talking about boycotting Capcom after they broke their five game exclusive deal with Nintendo...I was pretty pissed myself.

I remember that as well, but don't really see why people got so mad.  I mean apart from the coolest of all the games (Dead Phoenix or something like that) being canceled, all of the games went to the Gamecube anyways.  Who cares if they also went to the PS2.

The GC was supposed to get five Capcom exclusives, (P.N.0. 3 or something, I guess Dead Phoenix, RE4, Killer 7 and maybe Viewtiful Joe) one of which was cancelled and P.N.0. 3 was the only exclusive and it sucked. Then a month before RE 4 was to be released, right before Xmas, Capcom announced it would be coming to the PS2 in a year. Most people were pissed because it was a big slap in the face for Nintendo and the PS2 fanboys wouldn't shut up about it.

No, I remember it well enough, but it wasn't as big of a deal as it was made out to be.  Nintendo still got the games, and sure, they weren't exclusives so maybe a few thousand more units weren't sold but in the grand scheme of things who cares?

I'm a Nintendo fanboy and I got caught up in the moment, it was some of the most fun I've ever had on message boards. Besides, the PS2 version was shit and I hear the PC version is even worse.

The PS2 version and Gamecube versions of Killer 7 seemed identical to me.
