Wow, it seems all the people associated with Gamespot have become complete fucking morons. I couldn't possibly disagree more with most of what was said. Virtually none of those things would convince me to drop a huge wad of cash on a PS3 in even the least bit, and I fail to see why they would change anybody's mind. None of those things would be worth the price tag. The *only* thing that could change my mind at this point would be a *significant number* of tantalizing exclusives (God of War III? Oh my yes) and a *huge* price drop. I plain can't afford the console, period. There's just nothing else that can be said. I couldn't afford it if I wanted to. I couldn't afford it if I stopped eating real food for two months. There's just no physical way it's ever going to happen. So, yeah, without a giant-ass price drop, they can pretty much forget about my business for eternity, which is going to make me really sad when I can't play God of War III, but I have no idea what they expect of people. I've purchased every major gaming console since the SNES barring a few of the more obscure ones, and when *I* can't find a way to justify the cost of a machine, you can pretty much guarantee you've fucked yourself.
