I like how they gave him "serious criticism."

Very cool. Took me a while to figure out which one was him in the picture.  :P

Is he even in the picture?  I took it to be just a picture of the statues, not of him standing with the statues.

2nd from the left?  It really is hard to tell.  The hand is what makes me think that's a real human.

I really don't think that he is in the picture.  The caption simply describes the statues, and what, was this security guard down there walking around snapping pictures?  No, he was looking for the guy.

I'm glad he didn't damage any of the statues in the process. I find it pretty cool actually... Too bad he didn't make it for longer.

Yeah, it's a cool idea.  Had he damaged something I'd be pissed, but this kind of thing is always cool if you don't fuck up and break something.  I love reading about these stunts.

Enlarge the image - no it's not.

Think about it.  Why would they be down there snapping pictures when they should be looking for the guy?  The answer is they weren't.  This picture was taken (or pulled from an archive) so that people would know what they were talking about in the article when they were referring to the statues and the guy posing as one.  Not for some where's Waldo.

Hehe that's what I thought when I looked at it the first time until Ghandi mentioned finding him in there! Still, I'd like to see him in full costume just to compare :P

What would be really funny is if there had been some guy living there posing for like ten years, and that's him in the stock picture.
