Still not a proper Wii release. It was torn from the gamecube to be made a Wii exclusive which sucks. I still have Paper Mario sitting shrink wrapped for the gamecube.

The Thousand Year door is one of my favorite games of all time of the past decade. You really really need to check it out.

On the flip side, I couldn't stand Thousand Year Door.  At all.

My wife loved it and every time she plays it I still want to give it a go.  It looks awesome.  I'm pissed that I don't have a Wii because I'd love to get the next game for her.

How on earth could you hate that game... well maybe I could see, but some specifics would be nice.

Dude, I loved Thousand Year Door.  It was an awesome game.  Just reading about it (and the new one) makes me want to play it again.

I might pick up a Wii pretty soon just for Zelda and this game.

Ehh . . .  It had to happen eventually, cutting off the GC I mean.  Clearly, Nintendo doesn't care about more powerful graphics too much.  They went a different direction with the Wii.  Disappointing, because you know the GC would handle it fine.  But not unexpected.

Same reason I hated Partners in Time I guess.  If I play a Mario game I really want it to be a platformer.  The cutesie RPGish Mario game just doesn't jive with me.  I recognize that they're good games, but I just can't stand them.

I guess I'm just too used to playing serious RPG's with the emo "woe is me" main character.

I picked this up and it's pretty fun. I mean, it basically is a platformer, just with some crazy game mechanics thrown in for good measure.

The "crazy game mechanics" is exactly my sticking point with the Wii.  What has made the console's name is what's keeping me away.  What are those crazy mechanics?  Do you need to be in top physical form to enjoy the game over extended periods?  Do you need a shower afterwards?

I picked up ,Super Paper Mario Haven't got to play it yet, but I'm sure I'll like it. I loved, Thousand Year Door. Although, it's supposedly pretty different than TYD. More of a plat-former.
