1998 I was in my freshman year of high school so I was maybe 14-15.  My mom was fairly cool with me going to concerts at that age but my overbearing stepdad didn't approve of it and I basically had to beg him if I could go, I guess he thought I was going to do drugs or something at the concerts even though I had never done any in my life.  After that concert he got a little more trusting of me going to concerts.  I had to lie about the GWAR concert though because if he had known I was going to it, he wouldn't have let me probably.
