A lot of people don't care for all these fancy cell phones. I mean, they're all nice to have features but at the end of the day, the primary use of a cell phone is for making calls?
Watching movies? Why the fuck would I watch a movie on a 2" screen at a low bitrate that kills my phone's battery?
Listen to music? This is plausible and reasonable. I use my k790a with a 1GB card for music listening since most of the time I don't feel like carrying an extra device (re: mp3 player) with me. However, a long road trip or if I travel, I'd need to bring an mp3 player with me anyway.
Camera; really hit and miss. I mean, I've got a 3.2 MP camera on my cell phone and it takes pretty shitty pictures, or good pictures, depending on how you look at it. On one hand, it takes good pictures for a cell phone, on the other hand, compared to real digital cameras, it blows. The lens is crappy, the camera is slow, and the picture quality is mediocre most of the time. I hear there are some half decent phone cameras though but I'd rather use a real digital camera instead.
Web browsing; again this is a nice to have feature, but I don't see it as being a necessity. Browsing rates on a phone is expensive.
Games; this is a cool feature, but it's hard finding good cell phone games sometimes, unless you have 'sources'.
Email is a really good feature and is really handy for some people, but Blackberry has nailed the email in a phone thing on the mark.
etc etc.
I really only use my phone for just its phone capabilities, and I occasionally use it for mp3 playing, and for some light gaming when I'm in a boring class or something like that. Only problem is that I usually have my laptop with me 90% of the time when I'm on the go, so I'd rather be using my laptop instead.
