Yeltsin was an odd fellow.  And that video is sort of amusing.

So the rest of him finally died eh? Didn't his liver kick the bucket like 20 years ago?
Suck it, Pugnate.

For some reason I thought he was already dead.  I saw something about Yeltsin in the Google News feed and thought it was odd they were talking about him.

I'll be sad if Gorbachev dies.  I never liked Yeltsin.  Not that I'm happy about it or anything.  He was not a bad guy.  The one good thing he did is force the release of Gorbachev from his captivity by the hardliners behind the failed coup d'etat.

Gorbachev was an even odder fellow.  I always found it hard to dislike him.  It was interesting watching him talk about the Chernobyl stuff when I downloaded all those documentaries.

Why does your quote say udder?

I say good riddance.

He might have toppled the USSR but the rest of his "regime" has brought nothing good for the rest of the population. Russia is now far worse as a country than it was 20 years before under communism and it's going to take decades for the country to stabilize.

Furthermore the current rush by NATO and the States will no doubt result in another Cold War of some form in the near future.

Yeah, there is lots of talk about cooling relations between Russia and the U.S.  And Putin is former FSB and word is that he's really ramped up the FSB's budget since he took office.  It's weird though because supposedly GWB and Putin get along fairly well.

Not to mention that Putin has been amazingly good at slowly eliminating his opposition...

Yeah that's true.  Russia seems to be slowly regaining its former "glory."
