And freaking dry? I can't even paint because anything I put on my palette dries within minutes and gets chunky ugly all quickly. It sucks.

yeah..it hit the upper 90's down here. I stayed indoor while i was at work opting to skip lunch so i wouldnt have to walk in the heat. Luckily my company keeps the building at a nice and cool 68 degrees.

68? That's like the fucking Arctic! You remind me of my old boss at the ice company. I'd freeze so I'd go over to the thermostat and bump it up to 71 or 72 and next thing I knew it would be at 68 again. It was almost like a game to see who could change the temperature without the other noticing.

It seems the fans and windows finally did their job about an hour ago and cooled the room down to 75ish, so I managed to get some painting done. I'm happy, now the trick will be getting to sleep. I had a hell of a time last night.

Actually, Centigrade makes more sense, in the spirit of the metric system. I just thought I'd join in all the ranting fun.

The only C temps I'm familiar with are 37-41. In Puerto Rico, weather is handled under the American system, so I'm used to Farenheit for that. But medicine falls under Centigrade. 37 is the normal human temperature. 41 is a boiling-hot fever that might kill you. 39 is bad enough to keep you home from school.

Well I just did the temperature conversions...

I would kill to have a 90F temp.

Here the temperature is typically 40-45C which is 104-113F. Currently it is 43C.

In Saudi Arabia it is even worse... plus 80% humidity in Saudi Arabia.

Air conditioners are mandatory. My room temperature before turning the AC on is about 40-42 which is 105-108. After I turn the AC on it takes a couple of hours for it to go down to 16C which is 60.8F

I can't sleep unless the temp is at 16-18 C which is 60-64F... unfortunately the voltage comes in a little low during the summer. However I've replaced all four ACs with split ACs instead of window ACs. They use up far less voltage.

16C inside to 40+ outside? That's a hell of a temperature change. Just force yourself to adapt. In summer my room is usually around 35C, and as a result I can now handle the 40 degree heat fairly easily.

No that's just when I am sleeping heh. Normally inside it is about 35C. Electricity is really expensive here so I can't use the ACs all the time.
