Man it'd be awesome if they made a full SP game in that style. Also, I hope you can laugh like that when you fire the gun playing TF2. That would be great.

TF2?? Holy shit I thought this was dead... hasnt this been in dev a long ass time?

Yeah...kinda. They started in 1999 or something, but then shelved it while they worked on HL2 (they wanted TF2 to use the new engine). During that time we got games like Battlefield and stuff that did pretty much everything Valve wanted to do with TF2. So they scrapped that version entirely and are now making more or less a strait-up remake with fewer changes and  cool "Incredibles" visuals.

Yea I was really pumped to play TF2 as I read so much about it. It kinda saddens me it never made it. However after all the battlefield games that have been released and the new UT games and RTCW and ET, theres so much thats been developed around team classed based multiplayer games, its going to feel good to get back to its roots again with this so Im glad its just a straight up remake, I even dig the new visuals.

I wonder if Valve will make a pack that includes Episodes 1 & 2.. I didn't buy 1..

Yeah, they are. Theres the Black box and Orange box. Once has just the newest stuff (TF2, Portal, and EP1) the other has all that plus EP1.

I'll look into that, alternatively I will gauge my patience and see if I can hold out till Episode 3.
