Unless it stars Morgan Freeman as God Almighty again, I don't understand how it's possible to make a movie about The Sims.  You can make one about some Sims scenario, but that's not the same thing.

That's pretty much it. The game has no story... what the hell do they expect to do? They just want to cash in on the success of the games.

This could be a great movie...they just put a bunch of people in a house and then come up with creative ways to kill them. Which is what everyone does when they play The Sims.

Well... it is odd they chose to do a Sims movie... but I reckon if done properly and with thought, they could produce a quirky funny movie about a house and their those living it. it could skip a head in time and follow the development of those people growing, up, relationships, getting married and growing old. It could be interesting... if done right.... hands up those who think that'll happen?

But how would that be a Sims movie?  It would just be a movie about people.  It's impossible to make a movie based on this franchise because the franchise is based on... nothing.  Based on everything.  Just... life.  You can't base a movie on people doing mundane things, and if you give it a plot, it no longer bears any resemblance to the Sims whatsoever.  Unless you literally made a movie exactly like it, in which case it would be about people who have thought bubbles and speak gibberish.  This idea is impossible and useless.

And Q, nah it wouldn't be a Sims movie, it'll just be a funny quirky movie with Sims slapped across it. Now what if... they made it using the game! Hahaha that'd make it a sims movie!

Before some movies here, they've taken to showing little Sims machinima shorts. You know, like Red V Blue, but with The Sims.

And I tell you this.

They are fucking dreadful.

I think this is a great idea...only because this game has the same last name as I do (mine has two M's).

Anyways, they've already done this with the real world and every other reality show. The only way they can pull this off is if they do a mock reality show...which will suck.
