Topic: I hate the summer.

Yeah, its been pretty humid and hot here lately too with rain off and on.  The rain doesn't even feel nice or help since its scattered and just makes things muggy.

I'll take hot and humid any day over freezing and snow.  And as much as we need rain, I hate rain.  Acually, I like thunderstorms, but I hate the overcast, all-day raining of the spring and fall.

How can any computer geek like thunderstorms?     Where I am now makes it difficult to use my UPS, so I'm at the mercy of the power grid.

I like the Fall the best.  Cool, crisp, dry (usually).  Spring tends to be too wet.  Summer's OK when it's not too muggy or smoggy.  I despise Winter.

September and October suck because the days get shorter, the weather gets colder, and you're constantly reminded that winter's just around the corner. It's like a Sunday... sure, you should be enjoying it, but you know the weekend is almost over and it's time to work tomorrow.

November through April suck because it's freezing cold and dark most of the time.

May through August = good stuff

Jasmine!  I finally know what that word is.  Now I can die a happy man.

I met these guys at a concert at OSU.  They invited people to stay after and learn about their philosophy (i.e., religion).  I could not believe that only about 30 of us stayed.  I wouldn't care if they wanted to convince me that God is a computer in the Pentagon, if it got me some face-to-face time with them back then.

Yeah, I don't know what planet you people are from, but unless you actually go to the beach, girls don't just suddenly start wearing bikinis around the street.  I used to be a total beach bum when I was dating a girl from LA, but I live in northern California and most of the beaches that don't suck here are a pain in the ass to get to.

I see a lot of bikinis because people tube down the rivers around here a lot.  Also, Texas summers are so much worse than Arizona summers.  When I lived in Phoenix the dry heat was so much nicer than the humid heat we get here in Texas.

I LOVE the summer. Winter and fall suck ass in Ohio. Freezing cold, snow, ice, it sucks. Summer is hot, and sometimes humid, but there are BBQ's, back yard bond-fires, parks to walk in, festivals etc. It rocks.
