wow.... I'm not sure if he got what he deserved or if this is a tragedy.

He said that the assailants used a sharp hunting knife, and left the old man alone and bleeding slowly to death.

However absurd his notion of healing powers were, he certainly didn't deserve that.

I actually had the annanova link initially and that wasn't nearly as gruesome...

I don't know what's more absurd: his claims to have healing powers in his leg or someone cutting it off based on that claim!

Hell of a thing to steal though. You'd think it would have been better/easier to just kidnap him.
