Wow that was pretty horrible. It definitely seems Fox News is in the business of sensationalism rather than news reporting. I love the letter from the EA guy. He is bang-on on everything he says. Bringing up The OC and especially the question "Do you honestly believe that young people have more exposure to Mass Effect than to those prime time shows?" was awesome.
I love how the one lady says "Who's playing videogames? Adolescent males; not their dads." The "videogame generation" is growing up, and let's face the facts here... a lot of us are now dads and guess what? Yep, we still play videogames. Maybe we don't have as much time to play them as we used to, but that's irrelevant. College males are absolutely huge gamers too, and last I checked, they are adults, not adolescents.
I also love how the anchor tries to bring up the age screening process on the website as some sort of slight against Mass Effect. What does she expect? Having to provide a valid credit card or something? What does that have to do with the game itself, especially when there are thousands of other sites on the Internet that aren't even game related that have the same sort of age verification process or even no verification at all!
