I agree that maybe if you're a good shot, it's a less painful experience for the bird. But the hard-ons these guys are obviously getting from the experience deeply disturbs me.

Are you sure you care about turkeys feeling pain? They're basically plants.

Getting hard-ons from killing plants is even weirder.

Also, I hate all this video on the internet. I want to read things instead of watching stupid people saying stupid things in stupid voices and forcing me to pause my music.

So are you, but that doesn't mean we all go around stepping on you just for the satisfaction of causing you discomfort.

 ...

Actually, that may not be true.  Forget I said anything.

God, I wish that turkeys could fight back. Watching those guys getting destroyed by a roving gang of pissed off turkeys would kick all kinds of ass.

As cool as the arrows were that seemed cruel and wasteful.

That would make a much better movie.  I would totally donate to that cause.

I don't think I even started watching it until after that, then I mostly just caught reruns here and there.  Then I got sick of it and stopped watching it altogether.

The last few seasons are much, much better than the earlier seasons. The newest episode that was on a few days ago was pure gold.

South Park started up again?  Fuck yeah!

Anyways, I really couldn't care less about the 'cruelty' involved in hunting animals.  It's undeniably less cruel than raising them 473 to a pen.  I also don't give a shit about that whole "It's not fair - you should hunt them with your bare hands!!" argument.  We're at the top of the food chain because we have opposible thumbs and the intelligence to create things that enable us to kill easily.  That is not to say, however, that I like hunting.  I think it could be one of the stupidest things you could do with your spare time in most cases.  "What you do on the weekend Bob?" "Well I went out hunting for pheasant.  I sat there in the bush silent as a rock for 10 hours.  One came through the clearing and I held perfectly still, controlling my breathing for 20 min. so as not to scare it.  I got it in my sights and BAM!  It was great.  But now I have to go to the DMV and wait in line for an hour to get my licence renewed.  Fuckers."  "Yeah, the DMV sucks."

And people that like hunting are also almost always total douche bags.  "Smooooking.  Joe.  Frazier."  What the fuck?!  But the weird thing is I like fishing.  I think it's because it doesn't involve being totally silent, buying camo, and you can drink a lot more.  Oh, and you don't have to like cock to do it.

I should also clarify that I think going to Bolivia to pay money to fire a RPG at a live cow is just pure capitalistic awesome.

But wait - what if I were to tell you that I could bring you live, caged birds and release them in close proximity to you? It's like hunting without the hunting. But you still have the satisfaction of knowing that you blew the living shit out of something. Just make sure that it isn't an old mans face.

Wait, what?

I can't personally verify this, but I've heard from two separate parties I have encountered on travels that somewhere in South America (I seem to recall Bolivia) you can pretty easily stumble upon the opportunity to go out into some field and shoot all kinds of crazy guns for money.  Apparently, you can pay to kill the livestock on this farm or whatever (I'm again assuming that both parties are talking about the same place) and you can also pay to fire an RPG.  You could also combine the two options.  These more exotic options were not, however, cheap enough to be feasible for either groups.

I probably should say that one of these parties was made up of aussies and totally can't be trusted.

Rent the RPG, then turn on the guys with it and steal all their cattle.  Free steak for life.
