Sounds like a bit of BS to me just from the sound of it, but I didn't read too far in. I smell very, very heavy conjecture in a game where that probably isn't even warranted, making the entire thing seem implausible. Some games beg for that kind of stuff (Elder Scrolls games, Silent Hill), others do not, so what you're reading into it is probably just coincidental.
Still, you have to give the guy credit for going the whole nine yards. I haven't played the game and hence can't *really* say anything about it other than a few of the assumptions he makes sound weak, but he certainly seems to have documented it all with care. Maybe the rest of you will find that what look to me like weak spots might be justifiable with whatever background knowledge you have.
