Topic: What does PC Gamer's August 2008 Issue have as their Exclusives?

PC Gamer's upcoming August 2008 Issue will have some exclusive.

And given the hint, people think it could very well be Diablo III from Blizzard.

PC Gamer Hints Diablo 3 on August 2008 Edition?

Another fan-fueled Diablo Rumor Mill has propelled out in full swing after PC Gamer's July edition wrapped up with the following text:

"NEXT MONTH
Have you ever had a secret that you're just dying to blurt out, but you can't for another month, and the stress of holding it in makes you want to do the pee-pee dance? That's what the PC Gamer staff is doing right now, because the August issue will be chock-full of exclusives, including a top-secret cover story so huge we had to go to [CENSORED] to get it. Just 30 days more ..."

Here are a few thoughts to ponder on this brainstorming puzzle PC Gamer unleashed:

- PC Gamer was probably among the Gaming press Magazines who visited Blizzard Entertainment early on May, a few weeks ago.

- If you remember, PC Gamer knew about the Starcraft II announcement last May 2007. Blizzard Entertainment made the announcement at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals (WWI) at Seoul, South Korea.

- PC Gamer can't talk about it for the next 30 days ... the 2008 Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals at Paris, France takes place on June 28-29.

- June 29 is the date Diablo II shipped on USA (2000) and the same date the expansion Lord of Destruction shipped on Europe a year later (2001).

- Notice how PC Gamer replaces a swearing with [CENSORED]? Could this be a clue as to what the game they refer to is? Because CENSORED really sounds like HELL ... as in ... Diablo?

Just 21 days ago, Diablo3.com domain name was reported to have been given at no cost to Blizzard Entertainment. And the 10 years old forum community has been renamed to Diablofans.com -- dozens of gaming sites around the world echoed the news in unison.

Gaming Sites have picked the rumor mill ball again. Whether PCGamer meant a Diablo 3 exclusive on the August edition, or not -- one thing is certain: it is obvious the gaming sites and the community at large want a Diablo sequel. Now!

Okay, PC Gamer squashed the rumor for Diablo 3.

On the off-chance this post about a Diablo 3 announcement made your pants a little tight, there won't be any big Blizzard announcement in the next issue of PC Gamer. So sayeth the editor: "We're officially squelching the Diablo rumor. We've got two big announcements coming in our August issue, but neither is from Blizzard." What will the super awesome announcements be? We'll find out soon...

Hmmm...so, what could it be?

But if the censored word is say "Hell" as the word that they are referring to, maybe it's Flagship's upcoming Hellgate: Earth project?

Well, if the censored word is "Hell",  it could be Doom 4, right?

That's more along the lines of what I was thinking.  The best super-awesome announcement I can think of is that there is going to be a surprise release of Starcraft 2 on June 1 or something.
