Yeah. There was something of a controversy over it because he voiced a major character in South Park and when they started to make fun of Scientology he got pissy.
Actually, it's more convoluted than that. Hayes had a thick skin, and when asked about the episode, he replied, "You can't take those guys (Parker & Stone) too seriously." I think it's profoundly unlikely that he got butthurt and quit his job.
Here's the conspiracy angle: Hayes had a stroke around the time the Xenu episode first aired, and for a while afterwards he didn't appear in public. It was actually his publicist (also a Scilon) that cancelled his contract with Comedy Central. So was it Hayes that quit his job, or was it his Scilon handlers?
Hopefully Xenu doesn't get him on his way to... uh... wherever.
