Skip the news item, and check out the video. I've seen a lot of Wahlberg films, so I found this absolutely hilarious.

Vid appears dead.  I'm too lazy to look for a replacement.  I find his comments funny and true, however.

It was a pretty funny skit. He's got Wahlberg's mannerisms down! hehe

I have to agree with Mark Wahlberg's comment that SNL has not been funny for a very long time. They warrant a momentary chuckle every once in a while but the show ahs just been dry for years now.

It's true, but he's kind of being a bitch.  Saturday Night Live probably isn't as funny as it used to be, but I can't say because I don't watch it.  I can say that as far as I know, the guy who did Wahlberg is the only funny guy on there (at least from a creative standpoint), and this was actually surprisingly good for a SNL skit (as nonsensical as it was).  I don't know, it seems pretty apparent that Wahlberg is just kind of pissed because he nailed a caricature of him.  This is kind of aparent to me from when he brings up Fey's Palin, which was a good impersonation, but not really all that funny. Actually, considering the amount of comedic gold out there at Palin's expense, it's pretty much mid-rage, and that might even be giving it credit.

I dunno', he didn't seem that pissed.  He just said the Palin sketch was better and SNL isn't funny anymore.  That doesn't sound too whiny.

You know, no one wanted to say anything, but your obsession with that guy ever since Entourage came out is really creeping everyone out.   Well, everyone but me - I'm just happy you got over your Sarah Jessica Parker thing.

I dont think hes being whiny either. I like how the headline was just all about catching people in with some drama, "Mark Wahlberg SLAMS SNL" I wouldnt call that a slamming by saying something along the lines of, I dont really care and SNL isnt as funny as it used to be, which I couldnt agree with him more. Hell this isnt even newsworthy.

I agree, which is why I wanted you guys to go straight the video. I do think that he probably didn't like being mocked, but that's about it.

I think the media just sensationalized it and went overboard.

It's like:

Media: "Mark Wahlberg, what do you think of peanut butter?"
MW: "It's alright."
News Headline: "Mark Wahlberg Worships Peanut Butter!! Believes It Is All Right!"

Well, of course if Wahlberg said he didn't like it, most people would assume it was because he felt offended.

The skit was kinda boring IMO. I didn't really find it funny at all. I did think he did an amazing job on doing Wahlberg's voice though. If I had only heard it, I would have thought it was actually him, even if he never said "I'm Mark Wahlberg".

Ha, that was pretty funny (assuming of course that he was joking and not being a total clown).  So, uh, why does that site hate him so much?

I thought he sounded pretty full of himself on Kimmel. Come on, take a joke. If he was joking, he did a pretty bad job of it.

Also, as for the Salin Palin impersonation on SNL, I think it's genius. Granted, it's not hard to make fun of her. It's actually really easy. But the impersonation is so dead-on, it's great. I wish that they had a better Obama.

I don't know... he actually did seem kinda upset at being parodied. Maybe it was all an act...

Like I said - if it was an act, it wasn't very funny. It seemed to me like he was legitimately pissed off, which just strikes me as pretentious. If you're in show business, expect this sort of thing, at least here in the U.S.

Strangely enough, we seem to be seeing this from different angles.  I personally think it's funnier if he's joking and you totally can't tell if he's serious or not, whereas you think (wrongly) that it's more amusing when you know what the motherfucker is thinking (wrongly).

But yeah, I agree with you and stand by my original statement - if he's not joking he's being a little bitch.

Well, clearly you have some insight to Wahlberg that I don't. I am intrigued at your inside knowledge of Wahlberg's psyche. Please share your inside knowledge / obsession / sick stalker tendencies?

I was just trying to point out how different we all are, which is great because we're all like super-friends.  I don't...I don't know why you have to do this to me constantly.

I'm sorry baby, you know I love you. Sometimes I just get mad and lash out at you and smack you around a bit. But I'd never hurt you. You know that.

From the hehe I take it, it was a good. And from his showing up, I guess he wasn't actually being an ass in those interviews... so Wahlberg 1, internet 0.

In the first appearance was only for a few secs: Lorne and Sarah Palin were watching Tina Fey doing an impression of Palin backstage, Mark walks by and asks Lorne where Samberg is, Lorne denies knowledge andMark says "You want me to punch you too!" so Lorne tells him and proceeds.

The next bit is right here!
