All I can see is the video full-page.  No links I could find.  The only other info is a 'W'.  So, what is it?  Fiction?  Future dream?  Developing technology?  Actual product?

Sorry about that. It is the first piece on that article.

Thanks.  I wonder what they would base something like that on, OLED?  How would it be powered?  Interesting, but I think we don't need to stick with the paradigm of a newspaper at all.

They've been talking about doing that for years.  You never know what can come about when economies of scale kick in...

Actually, e-paper is supposed to be very cheap. I've heard talk of using e-paper displays on cereal boxes, so as to make them more irresistible to children.

Speaking of Minority Report, MS hired the guy who designed the computer interface stuff, to do something with a similar look for their next Xbox 360 dashboard update, as well as future operating systems. Apparently they are going to release a wiimote for the 360, and it will help navigate the new dashboard and future OSs ala Minority report.

So now you can feel even worse when you throw the paper out instead of properly recycling it, since you'll be wasting even more resources on disposable shit that serves practically no purpose other than being "cool".  Okay, fine, technically this could cut down on paper since you'd have to print less to begin with (though not in the case of cereal boxes, etc.), but it still strikes me as pointless.

Another good idea.

I wonder if that's how they meant for it to work. You buy the thing once, and keep it till it expires.

They'll probably do the beer bottle deal.. When it expires give it back to a shop for 10 cents or something.
