Viewtiful Joe 2?

So, I just bought this new for $4.99.  I don't imagine it could possibly be a mistake at that price right?  I mean, I've only played one Clover game and it was pretty much the best thing ever.

The first was a lot of fun and I don't really remember hearing any complaints about the second. The problem is, I don't remember hearing anything about the second. Odds are it was probably just lost in the shuffle, so I imagine it would still be worth the $5 you paid.

The first one was fun, and the visual style was cool.  But I hear the second one wasn't as good, or that could have been one of the spin offs.  I don't remember.  Either way, Viewtiful Joe was a good game, but wasn't too memorable.

I had a lot of fun with the first game. And if I remember correctly, it was actually somewhat challenging. Which is rare these days.

I checked out some reviews after the fact and it seems the main thing with the second is it was just more of the same.  Having never played the first, It's pretty fun, but kind of annoying at times.   As Ghandi said, it's challenging, which is good, but at the same time makes me remember why I stopped playing games for years after owning a NES - you get to a point where it just feels stupid playing through shit for like ten min. just to get to the part you're stuck at.
