Well, I just finished the game and I have to say the some of the reviewers were being way too harsh on this game. If I had to place a score on it, it should get an 8 out of 10. Some of the criticisms in the reviews, like the end sections of the game, specifically the challenges in the Malebolge area are valid complaints that do take away from the game a little bit, but not enough to warrant the reviews it has been getting. Also, the challenges are not as hard and tedious as they make them out to be, I had to retry only two of them a couple of times. The complaint from one of the reviewers (can't remember if it was IGN or Gamespot) about the levels being bland and repetitive after a certain point is completely false. There is a ton of variety in the different levels to avoid feeling repetitive and the level design is one of the most kick ass parts of the game along with the enemy design. I think my main complaint with the game is that it was a little too short for my liking and I clocked in around 10 hours, but they set it up for a sequel which looks like it will be interesting. I can definitely see myself doing one more playthrough of this again.
