Cool stuff.  I have Syberia and never got into it.  I played a bit, was interested in the story, fell in love with the art style... but for some reason just never played more than an hour or so.

The first one didn't really pull me in. In fact I never played it properly until after I started the sequel!

Syberia II had a great start and definitely played to the stronger elements of the story. It starts immediately after the end of the first game, without skipping a beat, which I appreciated. The visuals were better than its predecessor, technically and artistically, with more diverse scenery and environments. It sucked me right in and compelled me to play the first game to get the whole story.

Syberia is the best set of Benoït Sokal's games I've played. I was really let down with Sokal's Paradise, which just felt underbaked and lacking.

Now I wanna play Amerzone!

I hope that pack comes to the US. I only played the demo of Syberia and I liked it. I'll have to track the games down.

Ditto --  I had difficulty getting into Syberia.  It just didn't pull me in.

Yeah, same here.  I played for a few hours and just kind of dropped it.  Maybe I'll try again one day.

I've got an older Syberia Collection DVD Edition from the UK from UbiSoft years back (from Gogamer), but it has that bleeping StarForce on it.

Sweet! If the price is great (~$10) it's worth it if you haven't explored the adveture yet.

I have Syberia Collection on DVD - with Starforce (S1 and 2).

I might have to get Syberia 1 b/c the SF crack causes issues w/ Syberia 1 - as some videos and crap don't load and cause the game to not boot right (early on, in the train area with the videos). Probably would get it if they do one of those cheap-ass percentage-off sales.

EDIT:
On GOG...
Syberia 1 is $9.99.
Syberia 2 will be $9.99, once it gets there.
Amerzone is going to be coming there, as well.
