He husband looks kind of sleezy.

Doubt he had anything to do wither her death. My guess is drugs. Or maybe her diabetes.

Her mom is claiming diabetes, but people are saying that they never knew she had diabetes.

Man, Brittany Murphy gets a shout out but no Chris Henry?  Now I feel bad for not posting it.

The Chris Henry story didn't make me feel any pity for him.  Spin the wheel again, and it would have been someone close else who died from the incomprehensible domestic violence.  It's possible Brittany did it to herself as well.  Regardless, what a waste, in both cases.  Damn it.  I hate death.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised about the lack of attention Chris Henry's death has received. Especially considering the kind of fucked up circumstances (back of a pickup truck?)

She always looked like she was on some sort of drug so I'm not surprised.

Damn, she was young.  That's a shame.  She was a bit odd, but sort of cute in her own way.

Also, who the fuck is Chris Henry?  Someone else said something about it to me the other day and I was like... who?

A football player, I think. Got pissed at his girlfriend or something and jumped in the back of a pickup truck. Fell out, hit his head and died.

Wide receiver for the Bengals. Got in some kind of fight with his fiancee. I think she drove away, and he jumped into the back of the vehicle, fell and smashed his head. He's had a good bit of legal trouble in his life, doing stupid shit.

most likely. the frequency of young celebrities dying by "natural causes" makes it seem a little unbelievable.

I thought she was cute in Clueless, but after that she got too skinny and lost it. Same thing happened to Cameron Diaz after The Mask. This popular "unhealthily skinny" look is annoying, especially when the drugs start fucking them up.

Also, the natural causes thing is bullshit. That means your body is old and tired and gives out. That doesn't happen at 32 unless something's wrong. For example, my grandmother died of kidney failure related to diabetes. That's not "natural causes", that's diabetes.

I once read that the human genetic code runs its course in 125 years or so.  If true, then anyone younger dies of something that gets him prematurely, which means virtually all of us.  I'm willing to accept heart attack and even diabetes as natural causes, even when gluttony-fueled obesity leads to both of them.  But dying at 32 of "natural causes" simply doesn't wash.  You have to beat the hell out of your inner body somehow for that to happen, and very near the time of death too.  (I'm not talking about the unfortunates born with genetic defects here who are lucky to survive their teenage years.  I hope that's obvious.)

This is from TMZ

Quote
Paramedics moved Brittany from the bathroom to the master bedroom, where they found a slew of prescription drugs -- "A check of the nightstands revealed large amounts of prescription medication in the decedent's name. Also noted were numerous empty prescription medication bottles in the decedent's husband's name, the decedent's mother's name and unidentified third party names." According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins. The notes say, "No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered."

Oh look. Another famous person hopped up on prescription drugs. Why does this shock us anymore? They get rich and gets doctors to prescribe them anything they want for the money. Case closed. Move along.
