I saw that on Digg last night and was amazed.  Am I the only one who didn't know he lost his jaw four years ago?

Yea exactly. My sister showed this to me, and I couldn't believe it. I thought he had recovered completely after the cancer. I had no idea it had come back and about all the jaw surgery since 2006.

The article is gut wrenching. Poor guy.

I'm surprised they can't replace that with titanium or something.  That's just horrible.  Poor guy.

I read this a few days ago. That is a really really good article, surprisingly.

I've been checking out the guys online journal...It's really interesting. It's not just about movies and such, it's about life, experiences, opinions, it's really cool. I've actually started to like the guy a lot more than before. I mean, besides the whole movie critic thing, he's a really great journalist.

Yea Scary, I thought it was pretty awesome (the article).

And yea Roger is a fine writer. I actually disagree with him a lot on his opinions, but his reviews are always well written.

I had no idea he even had cancer.  Crazy.  Poor guy.  I can only imagine what it'd be like to go through that.

Dude's really an inspiration.  He has a completely upbeat attitude about the whole affair.

For anyone who is interested. He owns Glenn Beck's face in it pretty much.

I'm pretty much a fan of Ebert at this point. I check his blog almost daily. I like the guy. I just like the fact that he has started to just call shit like it is. I wish more celebs had the balls to do that.

Glenn Beck is a transparent fascist.  He's also a cuckoo.  Ebert is quite right in saying that even conservatives should steer clear of him.  I wish all politicians and demagogues were as easy to catalog as this chubby wacko.

I remember when O'Reilly used to look crazy. Then Hannity came along and was a little more crazy. Then Beck came along and everyone else seems downright logical in comparison. Maybe that's his purpose - kind of like the ugly person standing next to you to make you seem prettier.

So really what you're saying is that this is all a plan to get Bill O'Reilly elected as president.... oh my god. We're screwed.
