A bunch of Hollywood Videos around me have closed already in the last year or two.  It seemed they were doing alright and actually it was Blockbuster that was suffering, but then Blockbuster came out with their Netflix-like service and the no late fees thing and Hollywood had no answer.

When this story hit my phone through Google Reader, the headline said that GameCrazy AND Hollywood video were both going bottom up.  I totally didn't read the article though.

The news story I saw was the parent company of those stores and a few others are stopping all US operations.
