This Take 2 Games Press Release announces plans for a deluxe edition of Dungeon Siege II that will include the upcoming Broken World expansion as well as other goodies related to Gas Powered Games' action/RPG:

    New York, NY - September 12, 2006 - 2K, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), today announced Dungeon Siege II: Deluxe Edition, a special collector's set that includes the original Dungeon Siege II, the Dungeon Siege II: Broken World expansion pack, and a number of collectible items spanning maps, portraits, wallpapers and a "The Making of Dungeon Siege II" DVD. Dungeon Siege II: Deluxe Edition will be available for PC at retail stores in North America in October and at stores in Europe in November 2006.

Which, if you ask me, is very little.  Though I still have high hopes for Supreme Commander.

Well I thought the first DS game was a quality hack and slash. It just went downhill from there.

I dunno' 'bout that much....

...since most games that have a original box and at least one expansion do at least eventually have some sort of special edition combining them all into one big box -- like The Sims, Gothic 2, Morrowind and NWN did. Hell, NWN has had like 3 or 4 editions, from NWN Gold (NWN + NWN SOU) to Platinum (NWN + SOU + HOTU) to Diamond (w/ NWN + SOU + HOTU + 3 Premium Mods).

The only reason I say that is Dungeon Siege 2 uses just about the exact same technology from Dungeon Siege 1.
